August 2023 – New Details
This month’s set of new details is a member inspired selection of different requests we have had over recent months. We are continuing to receive more queries about wide cavities in masonry walls, so this set demonstrates 150mm cavity wall details, from foundation, to window and door, right through to pitched roof.
Our members have also been looking for uPVC details, which we are pleased to now include in this set. You will find a variety of uPVC window details and uPVC door details including, uPVC tilt and turn and fixed windows, uPVC front door details, uPVC French door details.
Finally, the foundation and floor details in this set demonstrate the detailing required for radon barriers / gas membranes with a trench fill foundation and beam and block floor.
Most of this set of details show elevations that help clarify DPC positions, and overall improved understanding of the details. We hope you find this set useful!
