Price range: £9.00 through £14.00 + VAT

This detail illustrates the junction between a pitched roof and a solid masonry separating or compartment wall for dwelling-houses, based on Building Regulations Part B1 Diagram 5.2. Fire-stopping extends to the underside of BROOF(t4) rated natural slate roof covering over 1500mm either side of the wall. In residential settings up to 15m high, sarking felt may be taken over the wall, and roof support members can pass through the wall if fire protected for 1500mm on either side. The detail shows a retrofit warm roof build-up with ventilated gap and mineral wool insulation, alongside a cold roof option.
